The leaves are turning colors and falling…there is a nip in the air…the furnace has kicked on for the first time…IT MUST BE FALL.
This is one of my favorite times of the year. I love pulling out the long sleeve shirts and sweaters. I love to pull the blankets over my head at night. The pilot on the gas logs is lit, and football is in full swing. YE HAW!!!
That also means it is time for the Worship Facilities Expo, and this year it is in Charlotte. How nice not to have to travel…thanks WFX staff for accommodating my travel agenda.

I am also leading a workshop on Friday, October 30, 2009 from 1:15 PM – 2:15 PM. The title is SUCCESSFUL MASTER PLANNING: More Than Pretty Pictures.
Let me give you a sneak peek at the outline:
Has your church or ministry ever considered a building or expansion program? Have you ever stepped out in faith only to get bogged down in details? Is your master plan little more than a “Pretty Picture” to present to your congregation? Have you ever wished you had a road map to lead you through the myriad of details, processes, steps, and decisions that must be considered as part of a church building project?
If so, then this workshop is for you and your team. Successful Master Planning addresses the issues you must confront and the questions you must answer during this critical step of every Master Planning process and facilities expansion project. Whether you are considering an expansion to an existing facility or a major relocation, Successful Master Planning is your road map to a successful project.
